CUNARD NOW
Double Decker curated the exhibition Cunard Now, London at the prestigious British Academy, celebrating the highlights of Double Decker’s artwork collection on Cunard’s flagship new cruise liner, the Queen Anne. Situated in the heart of St James, London, the exhibition celebrated new talent, established artists, groundbreaking commissions and the new ship itself – home to the world’s largest floating art collection, curated by Double Decker.
Each of the dynamic mix of artists offered a contemporary interpretation of Cunard’s heart, soul, and heritage. Highlights included works from graduates from the Royal College of Art and Central Saint Martins, internationally acclaimed pieces such as Michael James O’Brien’s portrait of Gilbert and George, and Thomas Cameron’s seminal Queen Anne portrait.
